FNCC Pullela Gopichand Badminton League to begin today
The FNCC-Pullela Gopichand Badminton League will begin on April 4 at FNCC and run for five weeks. Top players from across India will participate, with teams competing for prize money funded through team entry fees

Hyderabad: Telangana Badminton Association vice-president V Chamundeswaranath and FNCC Badminton Committee Chairman Purushottam informed on Friday that the FNCC – Pullela Gopichand Badminton League will commence from April 4 at the FNCC and will continue for the next five weeks on weekends.
“This league is part of our effort to encourage sports like badminton alongside cricket and to guide the youth towards all kinds of sports. We will have teams representing the President, Vice President, and Secretary of FNCC. From now on, we plan to organise annual competitions in tennis, badminton, and pickleball at FNCC,” they informed.
The top 10 men and women players from across the country will participate, and each team will pay Rs 10 lakhs to take part. This amount will be used as prize money for the tournament winners.
