Hyderabad: BRS working president KT Rama Rao accused Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy of neglecting people suffering due to the recent heavy rains that have devastated Telangana. He slammed Revanth Reddy for prioritising review meetings on luxurious projects, while people were struggling due to incessant rains.
Taking to X, Rama Rao said lives and property were lost on a large scale, with people still waiting for relief, due to heavy rains and flooding. However, he said the Chief Minister was busy reviewing luxury projects instead of rescue efforts.
“The Rs 3.5 lakh crore 2036 Olympics bid, Rs 1.5 lakh crore Musi Riverfront beautification project, and Rs 225 crore Hyderabad beach plan are the topics of interest for the Chief Minister to review and make money, but not the plight of people of Telangana,” he said. He said the Congress government was focused on making money and leaving people in the lurch shamelessly.
