Warangal: Everything begins with an idea, idea provokes imagination. Imagination thrives for improvement and both of them together with a suitable plan of action and systematic implementation makes a successful engineer, said KITSW Principal Prof A Ashoka Reddy. He was addressing the students of engineering at the ‘Ideathon’, a student technical event held here on Saturday. The Technical Club (TC) under Student Activity Center (SAC), Kakatiya Institute of Technology and Science Warangal (KITSW) in association with Institutions Innovation Council, Ministry of HRD, Government of India jointly organised the ‘Ideathon’ for B.Tech students.

Addressing the students virtually, Prof Reddy said that creative thinking would play a key role in innovation. “Practice experiments and make your thoughts for innovation,” he said, adding that KITSW was focusing much on ‘Innovation, Incubation and Creation’. Inaugurating the event, Prof K Rajanarender Reddy said the idea exists forever if it is built for the usage of the common man. Student Affairs Dean, Prof. G. Raghotham Reddy said that the event was aimed at inculcating and cultivating technical skills for innovation.
