Hyderabad: Municipal Administration Minister and TRS working president KT Rama Rao asked Khammam Mayor Punukollu Neeraja and Deputy Mayor Shaik Fatima Zahra to strive hard for the development of Khammam Municipal Corporation (KMC). He said the town was growing fast and advised them to continue with the infrastructure development taken up by the State government in an effective manner to facilitate further growth.
The Minister congratulated the newly elected Mayor and Deputy Mayor who called on him at his office in Hyderabad for the first time after their election to the respective posts. They were accompanied by Transport Minister Puvvada Ajay Kumar, MLC Palla Rajeshwar Reddy, District Collector RV Karnan, Municipal Commissioner Anurag Jayanti, Stambhadri Urban Development Authority (SUDA) chairman B Vijay Kumar and others.
