Hyderabad: A young folk singer died, allegedly by suicide, in his room in Saidabad here on Tuesday night. Police said personal problems were suspected to have led to the suicide.
The victim, Jatavath Mohan (20), a native of Nalgonda district, was staying at Reddy Colony in Saidabad. Police said Mohan, who sang a few folk songs and private albums, was quite popular locally and on social media. He was quite upset over an unknown issue for the last few days.
He ended his life by hanging from the ceiling fan in his room around 11 pm, leaving a suicide note saying nobody was responsible for his death. The Saidabad police are investigating.
