Hyderabad: The Apollo Sugar Clinics, Banjara Hills organised a special food display programme as part of World Diabetes Month 2025 celebrations under the theme “Healthy Eating, Healthy Living – Let Food Be Thy Medicine and Medicine Be Thy Food.”
British Deputy High Commissioner Hyderabad Gareth Wynn Owen graced the programme as the Chief Guest. He complimented Apollo Sugar Clinics for creating public awareness on diabetes and its prevention through healthy food habits.
Apollo Sugar Clinics Lead Consultant Dr J Jayaprakashsai shared his insights on nutrition, meal planning and the role of balanced diets in diabetes management. The programme showcased healthy food options, portion control models and interactive demonstrations aimed at educating patients and the general public on practical, diabetes‑friendly dietary habits, a press release said.
