Hyderabad: The opposition BRS has lashed out at the Congress government over the Miss World pageant event held in Warangal, condemning the insult to Telangana women who were made to wash the feet of contestants. Former Minister S Niranjan Reddy termed it as a grave insult to the people of the State and demanded an unconditional apology from the government.

He said the pageant yielded zero benefit to Telangana, while the government continues to ignore those who truly need support.
