Hyderabad: Tribal Boys XI recorded a 2-0 win over Madhya Pradesh in football in the STI Sports schools tournament that got under way on Wednesday. Dhyanchand awardee Shabbir Ali and former Indian captain Victor Amalraj graced the occasion on the opening day.

Results:
Boys: Under 14: FFA beat Madhya Pradesh 5-1, Tribal Boys XI beat Madhya Pradesh 2-0, Don Bosco beat Vidarbha 2-0. Under 17: FFA beat Football Club of Cantonment 2-0.
Girls : Vidarbha beat Welfare XI 3-0.
