Covid-19: 253 new infections and three fatalities in TS on Monday
According to the director of public health and family welfare, only 253 cases were reported during the last 24 hours, pushing the tally to 2,87,993.

Hyderabad: Telangana has recorded 253 new Covid-19 infections and three fatalities on Monday taking the overall toll to 1,554 and the cumulative number of positive cases so far to 2,87,993. As on Monday, there were 5,039 active Covid-19 cases in the State.
A total of 317 persons recovered on Monday taking the cumulative Covid-19 recoveries in the State to 2,81,400 with a recovery rate of 97.71 per cent, while the countrywide recovery rate was 96. per cent.
Between Sunday and Monday, 42,485 Covid tests were conducted in the State while reports of another 717 samples were awaited. So far, a total of 70,61,049 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 2,87,993 have tested positive and 2,81,400 persons have recovered.
The Covid-19 positive cases reported from the districts included four from Adilabad, seven from Bhadradri, 61 from areas under GHMC, seven from Jagtiyal, two from Jangaon, four from Bhupalpally, one from Gadwal, three from Kamareddy, 14 from Karimnagar, seven from Khammam, four from Asifabad, six from Mahabubnagar, four from Mahabubabad, nine from Mancherial, two from Medak, 18 from Medchal Malkajgiri, five from Mulugu, six from Nagarkurnool, 10 from Nalgonda, three from Nirmal, four from Nizamabad, seven from Peddapalli, four from Siricilla, 17 from Rangareddy, three from Sangareddy, two from Siddipet, four from Suryapet, three from Vikarabad, four from Wanaparthy, three from Warangal Rural, 20 from Warangal Urban, five from Yadadri.
