Foreign diplomats to visit vaccine facilities in Hyderabad

The Ministry of External Affairs has made elaborate arrangements for the visit of the diplomats to the two manufacturing units at Medchal and Shamirpet.

Hyderabad: Foreign Ambassadors and High Commissioners from over 80 countries will be visiting the Bharat Biotech and Biological E manufacturing units in a few minutes to inspect the efforts that are under progress for a vaccine for Covid-19.

The Ministry of External Affairs has made elaborate arrangements for the visit of the diplomats to the two manufacturing units at Medchal and Shamirpet.


The visiting Ambassadors and High Commissioners will be split into two teams and inspect the progress of vaccine manufacturing. The teams will be given a detailed presentation on the vaccine manufacturing and interact with scientists and experts as part of the inspection.

The teams will head back to New Delhi around 6 pm.
