Hyderabad: Well known journalist and writer Palaparthy Prasad passed away here on Tuesday. He was 88. He was suffering from illness for the last fortnight and breathed his last in house.
Prasad, as he is widely known, was the editor of Andhra Patrika in Madras for a long time and had penned several novels like Roshanara,Shajahan, Aarya Chanakya, Prudhviraj, Appaji, Sri Ranga Raya and many more.
Prasad hailed from Baptla in Andhra Pradesh and had done his graduation from Madras University. He worked as the editor of Andhra Patrika and after his retirement settled in Hyderabad.
