Former AP Footballer Williams Passes Away

Celebrated as a fearless and dependable defender during his playing days, his demise was condoled by Bolarum Sporting Club

Hyderabad: Former footballer of united Andhra Pradesh and South Central Railway, Jayakumar Williams, passed away here. He was 73 and survived by wife, a son and a daughter.

Old-timers recall that during his playing days, Jayakumar was known for his fearless and perfectly timed sliding tackles, which made him one of the most dependable defenders on the field.
