Hyderabad: Exposing the Congress narrative over Telangana’s development in the last 10 years, former Andhra Pradesh Minister Avanthi Srinivas said Telangana, especially Hyderabad, had developed rapidly under the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) rule.

Srinivas, formerly AP’s Tourism Minister, said a State could secure investments only when there is a stable government.

“In the neighbouring Telangana, under 10 years BRS rule, Hyderabad has developed rapidly,” Srinivas said in a video, which is being shared widely on different social media platforms here.

The former Minister had quit YSRCP citing personal reasons. After tendering his resignation from the party, he spoke to media persons in Andhra Pradesh on Thursday.

He also countered the narrative that Telangana would further reel under backwardness if there was a united AP again.

“In sharp contrast to these aspersions, Hyderabad has developed superbly. This is mainly due to the stable government in the last 10 years,” Srinivas said.
