BRS leaders led by former Narayankhed MLA M Bhupal Reddy are coming out from Narayankhed police station on Monday.
Sangareddy: The Narayankhed police took former Narayankhed MLA and BRS leader M Bhupal Reddy and other leaders into custody when they visited a BC Residential School to check the quality of the food being served to the students on Monday.
The police said they could not visit the hostel without prior permission. The BRS leaders were released later.
Speaking to the media, the two-time Narayankhed MLA said the BRS government under the leadership of former chief minister K Chandrashekhar Rao had built several residential schools in the Narayankhed area. However, the current Congress government could not even run them properly. The senior BRS leader said the students were falling sick quite frequently because the management was not serving healthy food.
