Sangareddy: Former Andole MLA and BRS leader Chanti Kranthi Kiran has suggested to the Telangana Congress in-charge, Meenakshi Natarajan, that she should go through the rural parts of Andole constituency during the padayatra to understand the reality.
In a letter addressed to Meenakshi Natarajan, who is participating in the Congress padayatra on Friday in Andole constituency, Kranthi Kiran lashed out at her and the Telangana Congress leadership for planning the Padayatra along the national highway-161 where she would hardly get any chance to interact with the people.
He suggested that the padayatra should cover nearby villages like Chandampet and Sangupet to interact with the farmers and learn about their issues. He said that he could not understand the purpose of the Padayatra since it was planned to avoid any public interaction.
Kranthi Kiran said that the Congress feared knowing the reality since they could not keep the promises they made during the 2023 assembly election campaign. Earlier, the Jogipet Police made preventive arrests of two BRS leaders and they kept them in the police station until late evening. They were released by evening.
