Former BRS MLA Peddi Sudarshan Reddy no more
Former Narsampet MLA and senior BRS leader Peddi Sudarsan Reddy passed away at 12.51 a.m. on Friday in Hyderabad. He was being treated at at Yashoda Hospital after suffering a massive pulmonary embolism.
Hyderabad: Former Narsampet MLA Peddi Sudarshan Reddy is no more. He was 52.
Sudarshan Reddy, a popular mass-based leader and a staunch follower of the BRS president K Chandrasekhar Rao, was admitted to the Yashoda Hospital in Secunderabad after he suffered a major cardiac arrest in Hanamkonda on on July 26.
Yashoda authorities declared that the former MLA breathed his last at 12.51 a.m on Friday. He also suffered from a serious lung infection. Following preliminary treatment, his condition was stabilised and the end came on Sunday.
The mass-based leader had represented the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) from Narsampaet assembly constituency after winning the elections in 2019. He was one of the staunch followers of the BRS founder K Chandrasekhar Rao and was also the Chairman of the Telangana Civil Supplies Corporation.
An exemplary leader who stood by the cause of Telangana, Sudarshan Reddy was born on August 6, 1974 in Nallabelli village of erstwhile Warangal district was elected as a member of the Zilla Parishad Terrotorial Constituency (ZPTC) in 2001 on behalf ofthe Telangana Rashtra Samithi (Now BRS) in 2001.
He was elected as the TRS district party convener in 2004 and was later nominated as the state party convernor in 20025. He led the separate Telangana agitation as the TRS Warangal district president for over eight years and later was nominated as the TRS politburo member
