Hyderabad: Former Mayor Bonthu Rammohan along with his wife Bonthu Sridevi, the GHMC corporator from Cherlapally, and other TRS party members participated in the Green India Challenge here on Monday.

A special plantation drive was held in Cherlapally ward on the occasion of the former mayor’s birthday.

The Green India Challenge launched by Rajya Sabha MP J Santosh Kumar is playing a crucial role by creating awareness about the importance of increasing green cover and the need to conserve it, Rammohan said.
