Nalgonda: Former BRS MLA N Bhaskar Rao hit back at Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy for his remarks against BRS president K Chandrashekhar Rao and for failing to fulfil the six guarantees assured to the people.
The Chief Minister, while addressing a public meeting at Nalgonda on Wednesday, had made what Bhaskar Rao termed objectionable comments against the BRS president. Reacting sharply, the former BRS MLA from Miryalguda said Revanth Reddy should bear in mind that it was due to K Chandrashekhar Rao’s struggles and fight to achieve Telangana that he got an opportunity to become the Chief Minister.
“In fact, Revanth Reddy should be thankful to K Chandrashekhar Rao,” Bhaskar Rao said in a statement.
He alleged that the Congress government had utterly failed to fulfil the promises made to the people and that, to cover up these failures, the Chief Minister was resorting to diversionary tactics and mudslinging politics.
