Former Miss Telangana attempts suicide twice in 2 days
The 25-year-old, who won the pageant in 2018 and is a model in Hyderabad, left her home on a scooter around 4:00 pm. After noticing her in the rivulet, locals rescued her, police said.
Hyderabad: Former Miss Telangana Kalaka Naga Bhavani also known as Hasini allegedly attempted suicide by jumping into Munneru River near Keesara toll plaza Krishna district on Friday evening. According to police, it was her second suicide bid in two days.
The 25-year-old, who won the pageant in 2018 and is a model in Hyderabad, left her home on a scooter around 4:00 pm. After noticing her in the rivulet, locals rescued her, police said.
On Thursday, she tried to hang herself while streaming it live on social media at her residence in Himayatnagar.
The woman’s friends, who were watching the video, immediately alerted the police, who rushed to her residence and rescued her. She was admitted to a private hospital in Narayanguda, where her condition was stated to be stable.
Eventually, a case was registered against Hasini under relevant sections.
