Mancherial: Former Chennur MLA and BRS district president Balka Suman alleged that the police and officials were becoming puppets of Labour Minister Dr G Vivek. He took exception to inspections by a team of officials and police at the residence of BRS leader Mallesham Goud in Chennur on Monday.
Suman said that the police and officials were targeting leaders of BRS under the guise of a model code of conduct that came into force in view of ongoing municipal polls. He faulted them for not inspecting the house of minister Vivek. He asked the police and officials as to why they were not checking the camp office of Vivek and residence of Congress leaders.
The police led by Chennur Inspector Bansilal and a flying surveillance team were said to have inspected the residence of Mallesham while Suman was visiting it.
