Mancherial: Former MLC K Premsagar Rao extended financial aid of Rs 10,000 each to kin of the four coal miners who were killed in the recent mishap at SRP-3 and 3A Incline, during his visit to their respective residences in Srirampur and Hajipur on Saturday.

Premsagar Rao consoled the family members of Bera Lachaiah (60), Krishna Reddy (57), G Satya Narayana Raju (32), and Rinka Chandrasekhar (32) and handed over the monetary help. He said that on behalf of the Congress, he was ready to launch a struggle if the kin of the victims did not get justice by November 17, by collaborating with trade unions.

The ex MLC assured to extend all support to the family members of the four miners. He held the management of Singareni Collieries Company Limited responsible for the mishap and demanded the officials to take steps to prevent the recurrence of similar incidents.

Naspur municipality floor leader of the Congress Surrmilla Venu, the party’s Naspur town president Adepu Shyamala and others were present.
