Hyderabad: Former Olympian JJ Shobha, who represented India in 2004 –Athens and 2008- Beijing Olympics, called on IT and Industries Minister K T Rama Rao here on Friday.
The athlete along with her husband met the Minister seeking his assistance with the allocation of a construction site which was promised to her by the government.
Responding to JJ Shobha’s request, the IT Minister immediately asked Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar to allocate the promised land to the former Olympian.
According to a press release SATS chairman A Venkateshwara Reddy who called on the Minister along with Shobha and her husband, sought immediate allocation of the construction site.
