Four arrested for allegedly stealing goats using car in Adilabad

Adilabad police arrested four persons allegedly involved in stealing goats using a car. Five goats, a car, three mobile phones and Rs 2,000 cash were seized from them. The accused reportedly confessed to committing the crime on Sunday.

Adilabad: A gang allegedly involved in lifting goats using a car was busted, with police arresting four persons here on Monday. The police seized five goats, a car, three mobile phones and cash of Rs 2,000 from the four.

Adilabad II Town Inspector K Nagaraju said that Mohammad Parvez, Shaik Izan and Mohammad Firdose, all from different parts of the town, and Asif Khan of Sirsanna village were apprehended for their role in stealing the animals using a car. On being interrogated, the four confessed to committing the crime in the town on Sunday. Parvez and Izan admitted to selling the stolen goats to Firdose and Asif.
