Four arrested for lifting motorcycles in Adilabad; three absconding

Four persons were arrested in Adilabad for stealing motorcycles, while three others remain at large. District SP Akhil Mahajan said the arrests were made using CCTV footage, and urged the public to install cameras and share suspicious movements with police.

Adilabad: Four persons were arrested on the charges of lifting motorcycles in different parts of the town on Saturday. Police seized a motorcycle from them. Three more accused persons are still absconding.

District SP Akhil Mahajan said that Karan Shinde, Mesram Sai Kiran, Pawar Vikram and Fardeen Khan, were nabbed with the help of CCTV camera footage, following the theft of a motorcycle recently. Abdul Sahil, Azhar Khan and Pollekar Ganesh were still at large.

Akhil Mahajan urged the public to come forward and install CCTV cameras to check various crimes. He requested them to share the movements of strangers with the police. Adilabad DSP L Jeevan Reddy, II town Inspector Nagaraju, CCS Inspector Chandrashekhar and others were present.
