Four arrested for smuggling illicit liquor in Adilabad
During interrogations, the four confessed to committing the crime to make a fast buck. They were produced before court and sent to judicial remand.

Adilabad: Four persons were arrested on charges of smuggling desi daru from Maharashtra to Telangana at Arli (T) village in Bheempur mandal on Monday. Police seized 196 bottles of the illicit liquor from the four.
Jainath Inspector D Sainath said that Athram Laxman, Ashish Jaiswal, Kumbekar Prabhakar and Athram Krishna were apprehended for smuggling the prohibited alcohol from Mandvi of Maharashtra to Adilabad district, following a tip-off. During interrogations, the four confessed to committing the crime to make a fast buck. They were produced before court and sent to judicial remand.
Meanwhile, Adilabad DSP L Jeevan Reddy commended Sainath, Jainath Assistant Sub-Inspector Siraz, constables Madhukar and Ravinder for nabbing the four. He warned that patrolling was intensified on smuggling of desi daru and culprits would strictly be punished, as per instructions of SP Akhil Mahajan.
