Hyderabad: The Commissioner’s Task Force (North) team along with Bandlaguda police caught four persons who had duped poor people on pretext of arranging double bedroom houses provided under government schemes for them.

The suspects are Mohd Ahmed, (25), Mohd Amjad (21), K Raj Kumar Reddy (33), and Mir Kausar Ali (32).
According to the police, the four persons formed into a gang and spread the word that they can help people get 2BHK flats provided to weaker sections of society by the State government.

“Believing them, 11 people paid them Rs. 42 lakh. The gang members prepared fake documents and handed letters of allotment to the victims,” said Y V S Sudheendra, DCP Task Force.

On a complaint, the Bandlaguda police had registered a case and with the help of the Task Force team nabbed them.
