Hyderabad: The Balapur police caught four persons on charges of violating lockdown rules and moving on the road creating nuisance in the early hours of Thursday. The arrested persons were Mohd Imran (28), Imran Bin Ahmed (27), Shaik Jilani (28) and Syed Sameer Ali (20), all residents of Bismillah Colony in Balapur.

Police said the suspects intentionally ventured out of their houses onto the roads with sticks in their hands and created nuisance in Shaheen Nagar. Local residents alerted the Balapur police, who nabbed them.


Officials said they would be booked under sections of the Epidemic Diseases Act and sections as per the law. They were produced before a magistrate and remanded in judicial custody.
