Hyderabad: The Task Force (Jubilee Hills Zone), along with Sanathnagar police, arrested four persons, including two juveniles, and seized 60 grams of MDMA valued at around Rs 6 lakh on Friday.

The arrested persons are S Hemanth, a student from IDPL and M Nagendra from Chintal, both reportedly drug consumers who were also involved in distribution. Two juveniles in conflict with law were also arrested.

Police said the group procured MDMA from suppliers identified as Sai Nikhil Yadav and Aditya, who are currently absconding. They allegedly purchased the drug at a lower price and sold it to known customers at higher rates in the city.

According to officials, the consignment of 60 grams was procured just two days before the arrests for distribution in Hyderabad.

The arrested individuals, along with the seized contraband, have been handed over to Sanathnagar police for further investigation.
