Adilabad: Four BRS leaders were booked for allegedly erecting flex posters at a junction, affecting the visibility of motorists in Adilabad on Monday.

In a statement, Adilabad I Town Inspector B Sunil Kumar said a case was registered against Rohith Shinde, Mahankali Ajay, Yanam Narsinga Rao and Firangi Mallesh for erecting flex posters in violation of norms at Jagjeevan Chowk in the town. An investigation has been taken up. Action would be initiated against those who erected the posters, the police said.

The police further said the posters were contributing to road accidents by reducing visibility and blocking traffic signals. They warned that action would be taken against those who endangered human lives and affected road safety. They advised political parties to follow the norms while putting up posters at road junctions.
