Four booked for thrashing man with beer bottles in bar in Mancherial

Mancherial: Four persons were booked for allegedly assaulting a man in a bar in Bellampalli on Friday night.

Bellampalli Sub-Inspector Mahender said that a case was registered against Alli Sagar and three of his friends from Gandhinagar in the town for thrashing Vamshi while consuming liquor in the bar.

Sagar and his friends, who were in the bar, beat Vamshi with empty beer bottles when Vamshi broke a plate for delaying serving of an omelet. Vamshi received injuries all over his body. He was immediately shifted to a hospital. His medical condition is learnt to be stable.

Based on a complaint received from Vamshi, a case was booked against the four. Investigations were taken up.
