Hyderabad: A few areas of Hyderabad received very light to light rainfall on Thursday and the night temperature in various localities also plummeted due to the sporadic drizzles. The lowest minimum temperature of 11 degree Celsius was recorded at Rajendranagar. The highest rainfall of 3.8 mm was recorded at Quthbullapur.
According to the forecast by India Meteorological Department, Hyderabad, the city is likely to witness dry weather, along with clear sky and mist during the early hours of the day. It is expected that the night temperature at various places might plummet further on Friday. As per the Telangana State Development Planning Society (TSDPS), areas including Patancheru, Secunderabad, Gajularamam, Kukatpally and Moosapet are likely to witness chillier nights, recording the minimum temperature below 15 degree Celsius.
Meanwhile, a few parts of the state received light to moderate rainfall upto 10 mm, on Thursday. IMD-H has issued a four-day orange alert for several districts of Telangana, including Adilabad, Nirmal, Kumram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Rangareddy and Medchal-Malkajgiri from Friday to Monday. The night temperature at these places is likely to range between 5 degree Celsius to 10 degree Celsius.
