Four get life term in Suraram murder case
A Hyderabad court sentenced four people to life imprisonment for murdering Anjaneyulu in 2021 after suspecting him of causing a family member’s death
Hyderabad: A local court on Tuesday convicted four persons in the 2021 Suraram murder case and sentenced them to life imprisonment along with fines.
The convicts — Jarpati Maisaiah, Jarpati Gangaraju alias Gangulu, Jarpati Yadamma, and Markandeya Manoj Kumar alias Chintu were found guilty of murdering Anjaneyulu in August 2021.
According to police, the convicts had suspected Anjaneyulu of being responsible for the death of a family member and assaulted him at Maisaiah’s residence in Suraram in August 2021, causing his death.
The victim’s daughter lodged a complaint after receiving calls from the accused admitting to the killing.
The case was registered and investigated by Dundigal Police (later Suraram PS).
