Four held for murdering farmer in Adilabad

Adilabad: Four persons were arrested for allegedly murdering a farmer over past grudges in Echoda mandal centre six days back.
Producing the accused before the media here on Wednesday, Superintendent of Police Vishnu S Warrier said the accused were Sinde Achyut, Sinde Govind Rao, Sinde Ramkishan and Jadav Kishan, all hailing from Ponn village in Sirikonda mandal. The victim was Bagnure Gnaneshwar (30), also a native of the village.
During the course of interrogations, the four confessed to eliminating Gnaneshwar by smashing his head with a rod at a party they organised for him as they nursed a grudge against him over some petty issue in the past. They confessd that they had hired Srinivas, a Mee Seva operator, for Rs 10 lakh to carry out the murder, and had paid him Rs 90,000 as advance.
Warrier commended Utnoor DSP Uday Reddy, Inspector Ravinder, Sub-Inspectors Surya Prakash, Krishna Kumar for cracking the mystery behind the murder in a week.
