Four held in Hyderabad for selling mephentermine injections

Hyderabad Narcotics Enforcement Wing and Chaderghat police arrested four persons for selling mephentermine sulphate injections and seized 74 vials. Police said prime accused Imran Ali sourced the drugs from Ritesh and Mohit and also used some for personal consumption

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Narcotics Enforcement Wing (HNEW) along with Chaderghat police caught four persons who were selling mephentermine sulphate injections. Police seized 74 vials from them.

Acting on a tip-off, the police caught Mohd Imran Ali (32), Ranga Shanker Goud (65), Dharamkar Ritesh Kumar (32) and Dharamkar Mohit Kumar (31).

Police said Imran purchased the injections from Ritesh and Mohit. He often used them for personal purposes and also sold them to others, said Y V S Sudheendra, DCP, HNEW.

A case has been registered at Chaderghat police station against them.
