Four held in Secunderabad for making adulterated ginger-garlic paste

The Secunderabad Task Force and local police arrested four persons in Lalaguda for preparing and selling adulterated ginger-garlic paste in unhygienic conditions. Police seized 1,915 kg of adulterated products and materials used in the illegal food preparation unit.

Hyderabad: The Task Force (Secunderabad) team, along with local police, nabbed four persons for preparing and selling adulterated ginger at Lalaguda on Friday.

The arrested persons, N Venkateswarlu, K Vinod, T Satish and M Shivani are making adulterated ginger and garlic paste, that too in highly unhygienic conditions, mixing acetic acid. Further, by pasting boxes with fake brands, they supply to shops in the market.


A total of 1,915 kgs of adulterated ginger-garlic paste and other material was seized.
