Hyderabad: The Government Railway Police arrested four persons, including three women, who were allegedly smuggling ganja at Secunderabad railway station and seized 45 kg of ganja from them.

The arrested are Bali Atish Pawar, Rohit Gadaji, Rajani Rohit, and Padma Ashok. According to the police, Bali Atish Pawar, along with the three other arrested persons, purchased ganja from Bhura and Ashish Kumar of Odisha.

“The women purchased the ganja at a low price in Odisha and sold it in Maharashtra at a higher price. On Friday, the four people, after purchasing the weed from Odisha, arrived by train at Secunderabad railway station. They were waiting to take another train when the GRP personnel caught them,” the GRP said.

Efforts are on to nab the suspects who are absconding.
