Four injured in beer bottle attack at Lalapet liquor shop
Four persons were injured in a clash at a liquor shop in Lalapet, Hyderabad, after unidentified assailants attacked them with beer bottles. Local residents alleged that the outlet permits illegal drinking on its premises and claimed marijuana was being consumed nearby.
Hyderabad: Four people were injured after a clash broke out at a liquor shop in Lalapet on Friday night.
According to police, the unidentified attackers allegedly assaulted the victims with beer bottles during the altercation.
Meanwhile, local residents alleged that frequent fights take place at the liquor shop and accused it of illegally allowing customers to consume liquor on the premises.
They also claimed that marijuana was being consumed a few metres away from the shop.
Based on a complaint from the injured, Lalaguda police registered a case and are investigating.
