Four-member gang of burglars arrested in Hyderabad’s Gajularamram

According to police officials, the gang was caught when they were selling remaining stolen property to local scrap vendors

Hyderabad: The Jeedimetla police on Thursday arrested a four-member gang of burglars who were allegedly involved in a case reported on January 11 and recovered stolen property worth Rs 7 lakh from them.

The arrested were identified as Syed Feroz (31), Mohammed Alam (26), Aslam Khan (42) and Mohammed Gaffar (46), all residents of Bahadurpura. Another suspect, Sohail, is absconding.

According to the police, the four persons entered a scrap shop at Rami Reddy Nagar, Jeedimetla. They made away with a part of the scrap material and sold it to one person at Mahabubnagar. “The gang was caught at Gajularamram when they were selling remaining stolen property to local scrap vendors,” said DCP Balanagar, K Suresh Kumar.
