Nalgonda: Four crest gates of the Nagarjuna Sagar Project were lifted by the project officials in view of the increase in inflow into the project.

Inflows into the project were 62,601 cusecs while outflows were 52,226 cusecs. The water level in the project reached a full reservoir level of 590 feet while the water storage level also touched its gross storage capacity of 312 tmc. About 2,690 cusecs of water was being released downstream through the four crest gates. In addition to this, water was being released to the left and right canals of the project.
