Four of a family injured in LPG cylinder explosion in Medchal
Four members of a family, including three children, sustained burn injuries after an LPG cylinder reportedly exploded while being replaced at their house in Srirangavaram, Yellampet, on Monday. The injured were shifted to hospital, while police began an investigation into the incident.
Hyderabad: Four members of a family were injured after an LPG cylinder reportedly exploded while it was being replaced at a house in Srirangavaram, at Yellampet in Medchal on Monday.
According to local residents, the injured were identified as Srinivas (37) and his three children Pravalika (14), Haripriya (10), and Vikranth (6).
The blast occurred while the family was changing the cooking gas cylinder, causing burn injuries.
On receiving information, an ambulance team, rushed to the spot and administered first aid, before shifting the injured to a nearby hospital for further treatment.
The exact cause of the explosion is yet to be ascertained.
Medchal police are investigating.
