Four students injured, one critical after van overturns in Nagarkurnool

Four ninth standard students from ZPHS Peddakothapally were injured after the van they were travelling in overturned near Satapur village in Nagarkurnool. One student, Shiva, is in critical condition. Parents demanded an explanation from the school management over the incident

Nagarkurnool: Four ninth standard students from Zilla Parishad High School (ZPHS), Peddakothapally, suffered injuries when the van in which they were travelling lost control and overturned on the road at Satapur village in the district on Tuesday afternoon. The condition of one student is said to be critical.

The ZPHS management had made the students board the van in which books were being transported from Peddakothapally to the school. However, the vehicle lost control, and four students identified as Ashok, Karthik, Nani and Shiva suffered injuries. The injured were shifted to the hospital, where Shiva’s condition was stated to be critical. The school management later shifted him to Hyderabad for better treatment.
