Four stundents suffered electric shock in residential school Medak

The incident took place when the girls were installing a flag post during a sports competition when the high mast pole came in touch with overhead electric lines.

Medak: Four girl students of BC residential schools sustained injuries as they came in touch with live electric wires accidentally on the premises of a Residential School at Havelighanpur on Tuesday.

The victims were Rajitha, Gayathri, Tanushka, and Vasantha. The girls were installing a flag post during a sports competition when the high mast pole came in touch with overhead electric lines.


While Rajitha was studying intermediate, the other three were 10th-class students. Another boy also reportedly sustained an injury in the incident.

Former Medak MLA Padmadevendar Reddy visited them in the hospital and urged the staff to provide the best treatment to them. Their condition is said to be out of danger.
