Four Telugus among nine injured after tractor rams pilgrims at Sabarimala

Hyderabad: Nine persons, including two children, suffered injuries after a tractor rammed into pilgrims at Sabarimala. The injured persons included four Telugu devotees, reportedly from Andhra Pradesh.
According to local media reports, the accident occurred on the Swami Ayyappan Road. The injured were shifted to hospital, where the condition of two of them was stated to be critical.
The reports said among the injured, four were from Andhra Pradesh, while two were from Kerala and two from Tamil Nadu. Those injured were identified as Veerareddy (30), Nithish Reddy (26), Dhruvansh Reddy (10), Sunitha (65), and Tulasi Amma (60).
The accident occurred around 6.15 pm on Saturday. The tractor, which was being used to transport waste, reportedly went out of control on a steep stretch of the road amid heavy rain. The driver has been taken into custody.
