Jagtial: Four women of a family from Telangana have been reported missing at the Maha Kumbh Mela in Uttar Pradesh’s Prayagraj.

While two of them are from Jagtial town, the other two are their relatives from Kadem in Nirmal district.

The missing women have been identified as Narasavva (55) of Vidhyanagar, Rajavva (55) of Kothawada in Jagtial, and Buchavva (65) and Sattavva (55) of Kadem.

The four were part of a group of 11 persons who went to Prayagraj to take part in the ongoing Maha Kumbh Mela.

They were said to have been missing from January 29.

Family members here are making efforts to coordinate with officials in Uttar Pradesh.

There were also unconfirmed reports that a few more persons of the group were missing.
