HYDERABAD: A four-year-old boy died after being hit by a mini truck at Musheerabad on Saturday afternoon.
According to the Musheerabad police, the victim, Sriharsha, a resident of Bholakpur, was playing outside his house when the driver of a Tata Ace mini truck, who was reversing the vehicle, hit the boy. Sriharsha suffered serious injuries and was rushed to a hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead.
Following the incident, the child’s family members staged a protest and squatted on the Musheerabad main road for some time. The police later pacified and dispersed them, assuring them that action would be initiated against the driver. A case has been registered, and an investigation is underway.
