Four-year-old dies of heart attack in Khammam

The doctors who examined Praharshika said that the child was brought dead, suggesting that the child might have died of a heart attack.

Khammam: In a tragic incident, a four year old girl reportedly died of heart stroke at MV Palem village of Khammam Rural mandal in the district.

According to sources, Kurra Vinod and Lavanya of the village were residing in Khammam and had a daughter Praharshika. The child’s mother Lavanya, who appeared for Group-III exam on Monday, left the child with her grandmother and grandfather at the village.

After finishing the exam, Lavanya came to the village in the afternoon to take her child back home. With the joy of seeing her mother the child ran towards the doorstep to meet her mother. But before reaching the mother, who spread out hands to embrace the child, the child collapsed suddenly.

When the parents asked what happened to her, she complained of pain in the chest and fell unconscious. Immediately she was taken to a private hospital in Khammam after getting first aid at a local RMP doctor.

The doctors who examined her said that the child was brought dead, suggesting that the child might have died of a heart attack. A pall gloom descended on the village with the death of the child, who was full of life until the heartbreaking incident occurred.
