Hyderabad:The Hyderabad City Police invoked the PD Act against Malladi Gangadhar, who allegedly cheated several persons after collecting lakhs of rupees on the pretext of arranging jobs.
K Shiva Chandra, SHO (Banjara Hills) said Gangadhar, 42, a resident of Manikonda and native of West Godavari in Andhra Pradesh, collected several lakhs from job aspirants saying he had contacts in the GHMC and would arrange jobs for them. Two cases were registered against him for cheating the youth in Banjara hills and Chatrinaka police stations.
“Due to his illegal activities, the PD Act was invoked against him,” the SHO said.
