Free ambulance services for non-Covid emergencies launched in Rachakonda

Hyderabad: Rachakonda Police Commissioner Mahesh Bhagwat on Wednesday launched free ambulance services by technology services provider SmartIMS for people in non-Covid-19 medical emergencies.
Bhagwat said people in need of going to medical checkups could use these services, which were available free of cost and round the clock. SmartIMS associated with StanPlus Red ambulance services, were providing the ambulances fully equipped with oxygen, ventilation and other emergency facilities. Senior citizens, pregnant women and disabled persons in non critical emergencies could utilize these services to visit hospitals, diagnostic centres and blood banks.
“These ambulances will be active for the next two months under the Rachakonda Commissionerate region. I urge people to take precautions including wearing a mask, using sanitizer to protect themselves from Covid-19,” Bhagwat said.
People in non Covid-19 medical emergencies can approach the Rachakonda Covid control helpline number 9490617234 and the StanPlus dedicated hotline number 1800 – 121911911 to avail these services in emergency.
