Free cancer screening camp for women at NIMS on World Cancer Day
On World Cancer Day, NIMS in Punjagutta is offering a free cancer screening camp for women aged 30–60, including cervical, breast, and oral cancer checks. A cancer awareness walk will also be held at the NIMS campus on February 4.
Hyderabad: On the occasion of World Cancer Day, the Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS) is conducting a free cancer screening camp between 9 am and 4 pm at its outpatient block in NIMS campus, Punjagutta, on Wednesday, February 4.
The free cancer camp is being specially organised for women, who can avail diagnostic facilities, including screening for cervical and breast cancer. Women who are between 30 and 60 years can avail the screening facilities for free. The health camp will also provide oral cancer screening services for tobacco chewers and smokers. The NIMS is also organising a special cancer awareness walk on February 4 at NIMS campus.
