Freezing temperatures grip Adilabad, Asifabad: Villages plunge to bone-chilling 8.5°C
Arli (T) village in Bheempur mandal recorded a minimum temperature of 8.5°C, while Adilabad Rural mandal saw a slightly higher minimum of 9.1°C. Other mandals including Talamadugu, Bela, Neradigonda, Mavala, Jainad, Boath, Bazarhathnoor, Tamsi, and Gadiguda experienced temperatures ranging from 9°C to 11°C.
Adilabad: Minimum temperature of both Adilabad and Kumram Bheem Asifabad districts continued to plummet for the second day on Wednesday.
Arli (T) village in Bheempur mandal recorded the minimum temperature of 8.5 degrees Celsius, while Adilabad Rural mandal saw the minimum temperature of 9.1 degrees C. Talamadugu, Bela, Neradigonda, Mavala, Jainad, Boath, Bazarhathnoor, Tamsi and Gadiguda mandals registered somewhere between 9 degrees C and 11 degrees C.
Similarly, Sirpur (U) mandal witnessed the minimum temperature of 9.7 degrees C. Kerameri mandal shivered at 10.5 degrees C. Tiryani, Asifabad, Jainoor, Wankidi, Chintalamanepalli, Rebbena, Lingapur and Bejjur mandals had anywhere between 11 degrees C and 13 degrees C, making life difficult for elderly and children, who kept their bodies by bonfires and woolen sweaters.
